A fish-out-of-water comedy about a debt-ridden mid-western American woman who develops a close friendship with a very modern Indian woman telephone debt collector. Unemployed and with no job prospects on the horizon, the American woman works out a deal with the collection agency to work off her debt in the Mumbai call center while staying with her new friend’s ultra-traditional family.
