The campaign finance rules are anti-democratic. These rules give the public and the politicians a cynical view of the electoral process. Politicians spend a large block of their time to court a select few donors – those who can give high contributions as well as bundle it with contributions of their friends, and who can support super PACS to an unlimited degree; all the exclusion of governing or understanding needs of those other than the wealthy or interest groups.
